一見どこにでもいる父・母・子の3人家族。
ソーシャルワーカーの父【大智】に、ある日突然、身に覚えのない送り主から小包が届く。不安な気持ちを抑えながら開けてみると、そこには若かりし頃、自分を好きになった男【英太】の日記が入っていた。
英太の高校時代の思い出から、大学生だった大智との出会い…
【英太】という一人の人間が抱えてきた様々な感情や辿ってきた歴史を基に、子をもつ父【大智】の葛藤、その子【拓海】に潜む家族や学校の悩みが重なっていく。
愛する／愛されるとは何か、そして幸せとは何か。
見つからない答えを探す彼らは、いったいどこへ向かっていくのだろうか…

What Is Happiness...?
At first glance, they seem like an ordinary family of three—a father, a mother, and a child.
One day, Daichi, a social worker, receives a mysterious package from an unknown sender.
With a sense of unease, he opens it, only to find a diary belonging to Eita—a man who once loved him in his youth.
As Daichi reads, he is drawn into Eita’s past—his high school memories, his encounter with Daichi during college, and the emotions he carried throughout his life.
Through Eita’s words, Daichi, now a father, begins to confront his own struggles.
At the same time, he watches as his son, Takumi, grapples with the unseen burdens of family and school, their struggles intertwining in unexpected ways.
What does it mean to love and be loved?
And what does it truly mean to be happy?
As they search for answers that may never be found, where will their journey take them?
プロダクションノート
マイノリティーについて描き、2017年に出版された小説『半端者』の映画化は困難を極めた。当初、制作を請け負う会社が見つからなかったが、2019年8月、制作会社アウトサイドと出会う。幾度の協議を重ねた結果、600ページに及ぶ原作をスリム化した脚本を作成。
ロケ地やキャストも決定し、いざ撮影という2020年4月、新型コロナウイルス蔓延による緊急事態宣言が発出され、制作中断を余儀なくされる。
様々な障害を乗り越えた末、ついに2023年4月より制作を再開、同年10月にクランクアップ。ポスト･プロダクションを経て、2024年完成。映画祭出品後、2025年一般劇場での公開を予定している。
【Production Notes】
The journey of adapting the 2017 novel Creep (Hampa-Mono in Japanese), which explores themes of minority identity, into a film was fraught with challenges. Initially, no production company was willing to take on the project. However, in August 2019, a collaboration was established with the production company Outside. After numerous discussions, a streamlined screenplay was developed from the 600-page novel.
With filming locations and cast finalized, production was set to begin in April 2020. However, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and the declaration of a state of emergency forced the project into an indefinite suspension.
Overcoming numerous obstacles, production finally resumed in April 2023 and wrapped in October of the same year. Following post-production, the film was completed in 2024. After submitting it to film festivals, the general theatrical release is planned for 2025.

2017年、著者のたっての願いにより自費出版された同名小説。ベースとなっているのは、社会に居場所を見出せなかった少年の物語である。
昨今､よく飛び交うようになった【LGBT】という言葉だが、いささか一人歩きしているようにも感じる。この言葉は、あくまで性的マイノリティの総称でしかない。本作の主人公は「G」にあたるゲイ、つまり男性の同性愛者である。
昨今、ゲイに関する作品は増えている。オネエ（女性らしさを前面に出すもの）やドラァグクイーン（女装パフォーマー）を描いたもの、女性向けのファンタジー「B L」、一般的に受け入れやすいコメディ、あるいは道徳的・啓発的要素の強い作品が多い。
小説『半端者』は、そのような画一化された描き方ではなく、人間の本質を捉えることに重点を置いている。また、社会的認知が進みつつある〈性的指向〉という「正しさ」を説くのではなく、様々な形で備わっている個々人の〈嗜好〉についても、目を背けず描いている。

Published in 2017 as a self-funded project at the author’s strong insistence, the novel Creep (Hampa-Mono in Japanese) tells the story of a boy struggling to find his place in society.
In recent years, the term LGBT has gained widespread recognition, but it seems to have taken on a life of its own. At its core, it is merely an umbrella term for sexual minorities. The protagonist of this story identifies as “G”—a gay man.
There has been a notable increase in works addressing gay themes. Many depict onē (effeminate men) or drag queens (performers in women’s clothing), cater to female audiences through the fantasy-driven genre of BL (Boys’ Love), lean toward easily digestible comedies, or carry strong moralistic or educational overtones.
Unlike these conventional portrayals, the novel Creep focuses on the essence of humanity rather than conforming to a standardized narrative.
It does not attempt to advocate for the social "correctness" of sexual orientation, but instead, it unflinchingly explores the diverse and often overlooked realm of sexual preferences — an aspect of human nature that exists in many forms yet is rarely discussed.

1980年 東京に生まれ、神奈川県の茅ヶ崎で育つ。
桐蔭学園中学･高校、明治学院大学 卒業。
東日本大震災の衝撃から、それまで以上に自分の内面と向き合い、掘り下げる過程で物語の構想を練る。
2012年より執筆を始め、2017年に小説『半端者』を完成、出版。
当初から、作品世界を他者に届ける手段としての文字に限界を感じており、より明確に伝えるため映像化を決意。
実現が困難な中、全額自費での制作を開始。
自ら脚本を執筆し、映像制作会社アウトサイドの全面協力によって、作家本人が監督する運びとなった。

Keita Higashi
Born in Tokyo in 1980 and raised in Chigasaki, Kanagawa. He graduated from Toin Gakuen Junior and Senior High School and Meiji Gakuin University.
The aftermath of the Great East Japan Earthquake had a profound impact on Higashi, prompting deep introspection and leading him to shape the foundation of this story.
He began writing in 2012 and, in 2017, completed and published the novel Creep (Hampa-Mono in Japanese).
From the very beginning, he felt the limitations of conveying his world through text alone. Determined to bring his vision to life in a clearer and more direct way, he resolved to adapt the story into a film.
Despite the difficulties, he embarked on the project as a fully self-financed endeavor. Writing the screenplay himself, and with the full support of the production company Outside, Higashi took on the role of director to personally bring his vision to the screen.

阿部倫士 五十嵐英太 役
1996年、東京都に生まれる。
高校時代に映画のもつ力に惹きつけられ、大学在学中に俳優活動を始める。
2018年、主演を務めた映画『海抜』が、第31回東京国際映画祭 日本映画スプラッシュにて正式上映。2019年に各地で劇場公開され、ドイツで開催された第19回ニッポン・コネクションにて審査員賞を受賞する。
2021年、西条みつとしが総合演出および脚本を務めたTAIYO MAGIC FILM主催の舞台『黒い箱の中に白い箱』に出演。2022年には、TOKYO笹塚ボーイズ主催の舞台『朝の気配』に出演している。
Satoshi Abe as Eita Igarashi
Born in Tokyo in 1996.
Captivated by the power of cinema during high school, he began his acting career while attending university.
In 2018, he starred in the film Kaibatsu (Sea), which was officially screened in the Japanese Cinema Splash section at the 31st Tokyo International Film Festival. The film was released in theaters across Japan in 2019 and won the Jury Prize at the 19th Nippon Connection in Germany.
In 2021, he appeared in the stage play Inside the Black Box, a White Box, directed and written by Mitsutoshi Saijo for TAIYO MAGIC FILM.
In 2022, he performed in the stage production Asa no Kehai (Morning Light), produced by TOKYO Sasazuka Boys.
遠藤祐太朗 神林大智 役
1992年、福島県に生まれる。
映画の世界に興味をもち、上京してアクターズクリニック・UPSで、故・塩屋俊氏ならびに米倉リエナ氏に師事。成井豊演出『ヒトミ』やアジア舞台芸術祭『黄金のごはん食堂』などの舞台に立つ。
フリーの時期を経てホリエージェンシーに所属し映像作品を中心として、amazon prime『はぴまり』(16) や『メディカルチーム レディ・ダ・ヴィンチの診断』(16)、｢シトロエン×St.James」CMメインアクターなどに出演する。
現在は俳優業だけではなく脚本や監督など、自身の創作に活動の場を広げている。
Yutaro Endo as Daichi Kambayashi
Born in Fukushima Prefecture in 1992.
With a passion for the world of film, he moved to Tokyo and trained at Actors Clinic UPS under the guidance of the late Toshi Shioya and Riena Yonekura. He has appeared in stage productions such as Hitomi, directed by Yutaka Narui, and Golden Meal Diner at the Asian Theater Arts Festival.
After a period of freelancing, he joined Horipro Agency, focusing on screen performances. His credits include roles in Amazon Prime’s Happy Marriage!? (2016), the TV drama Medical Team: Lady Da Vinci’s Diagnosis (2016), and the Citroën × St. James commercial as the lead actor.
Currently, he is expanding his creative pursuits beyond acting to include screenwriting and directing.
高梨元秀 神林拓海 役
2012年、東京都に生まれる。
幼少よりミュージカルを好み、9歳からオリジナルミュージカルの創作を始める。 脚本・作曲・演奏・美術・撮影・編集、そして全役を一人でこなすオリジナルミュージカル動画『The Brecker』(21)、『The Night of The Kingdom』(22) を制作。
2023年、舞台『ぼくと14人のボクの夏休み』で主役を演じ、その後も数々の舞台に出演している。
2024年も、新作ミュージカル『カミヒト』を発表。
神仏画や曼荼羅を描き、個展を開催するなどマルチな活動を展開している。
Genshu Takanashi as Takumi Kambayashi
Born in Tokyo in 2012.
A lifelong admirer of musicals, he began creating original productions at the age of nine. He single-handedly wrote, composed, performed, designed, filmed, and edited original musical videos such as The Brecker (2021) and The Night of the Kingdom (2022).
In 2023, he starred in the stage play My Summer Vacation with 14 Versions of Myself and has since continued to perform in numerous theatrical productions.
In 2024, he released a new original musical titled Kamihito.
His artistic pursuits extend beyond the stage—he also creates Buddhist art and mandalas, holding solo exhibitions to showcase his diverse talents.
伸哉 柏木優輝 役
1995年、神奈川県の横浜に生まれる。
20歳から22歳までの約一年半を、カナダのトロントにて過ごす。帰国後、IT企業に就職。
その後、俳優業を始めるために退職し、活動に専念する。
持ち前の体格の良さを遺憾なく発揮し、映画『東京リベンジャーズ』(21) の渋工不良役にてデビュー。
『有り、触れた、未来』(23) では、保育士役として出演するなど、幅広い役に挑戦している。
Shinya as Yuki Kashiwagi
Born in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, in 1995.
He spent about a year and a half in Toronto, Canada, between the ages of 20 and 22. After returning to Japan, he began working at an IT company. However, he eventually left the corporate world to fully dedicate himself to acting.
His impressive physique landed him his debut role as a delinquent from Shibuya High School in the film Tokyo Revengers (2021). In 2023, he showcased his versatility by portraying a daycare worker in Ari, Fureta, Mirai (Future Found, Felt, Touched), continuing to take on diverse roles.
久田莉子 園部理沙 役
1997年、愛知県に生まれる。
2016年、ソニーミュージックの新ガールズ演劇エンタテインメント集団「演劇ガール☆フューチャ」メンバーとして活動開始。
以降、映画やドラマ、舞台で女優として幅広く出演。
近年の主な出演作品に、Netflix『宇宙を駆けるよだか』(18) 、TV『人狼ゲームロストエデン』(18)、 映画『マジックカウンセラー』(22)、TV『私のしてくれないフェロモン彼氏」(22) 、映画『18歳のおとなたち』(24) などがある。
Riko Hisada as Risa Sonobe
Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1997.
In 2016, she began her career as a member of Sony Music’s new girls' theatrical entertainment group, "Engeki Girls☆Future." Since then, she has appeared in a wide range of films, TV dramas, and stage productions.
Her recent notable works include Netflix’s Switched (2018), the TV series The Werewolf Game: Lost Eden (2018), the film Magic Counselor (2022), the TV series My Pheromone Boyfriend Who Won’t Do It (2022), and the film 18-Year-Old Grown-Ups (2024).
木村なおみ Naomi Kimura 五十嵐幸代 役
1972年、広島県に生まれる。
放映新社 所属。劇団キンキン塾に入団。
ＣＭ・ドラマ・映画・舞台などジャンルを問わず幅広く出演している。
2006年より故・愛川欽也氏に師事。
2017年より、横山一真 作・演出／うつみ宮土理 主演の舞台『巴里かもネ。』『素敵なランデヴー』『嵐の中で』『豆子セブンティーン』に出演。
特技は、日本舞踊(若柳流)。
Naomi Kimura as Sachiyo Igarashi
Born in Hiroshima Prefecture in 1972.
A member of Hōei Shinsha, she began her acting career with Gekidan Kinkin Juku. She has appeared in a wide range of commercials, TV dramas, films, and stage productions across various genres.
From 2006, she studied under the late Kinya Aikawa. Since 2017, she has performed in stage productions written and directed by Kazuma Yokoyama, starring Midori Utsumi, including Paris, Maybe?, A Lovely Rendezvous, In the Storm, and Mameko Seventeen.
Her special skill is Japanese classical dance (Wakayagi-ryu style).
及川欽之典 Kinnosuke Oikawa 田村真幸 役
2013年、東京都に生まれる。
一三商会 所属。
2019年 BS テレ東 真夜中ドラマ『歌舞伎町弁護人 凛花』でドラマデビュー。
主な出演作に、映画『神さま待って!お花が咲くから』『ボクらの映画 「アレッ!」』『俺を早く死刑にしろ!』『鋼の錬金術師 完結編 復讐者スカー』『北風アウトサイダー』、ドラマ『君に届け』『Dr.チョコレート』『仮面ライダーギーツ』『THE BAD LOSERS』『まんたろうのラジオ体操』などがある。特技は、牛乳の早飲み、空手。
Kinnosuke Oikawa as Masaki Tamura
Born in Tokyo in 2013.
A member of Ichizō Shokai, he made his television debut in 2019 with the late-night drama Kabukicho Bengonin Rinka on BS TV Tokyo.
His major acting credits include the films God, Please Wait! The Flowers Will Bloom, Our Film: "Are?", Just Execute Me Already!, Fullmetal Alchemist: Final Chapter – The Avenger Scar, and North Wind Outsider.
His television appearances include Kimi ni Todoke, Dr. Chocolate, Kamen Rider Geats, The Bad Losers, and Mantarō's Radio Calisthenics.
His special skills include fast milk drinking and karate.
若林元太 Genta Wakabayashi 佐光 役
1994年、静岡県に生まれる。
ミシェルエンターテイメント所属。
特技はサッカー（中学は静岡代表）。
テレビ朝日開局60周年記念番組 倉本聰「やすらぎの刻～道」に約5000人が参加したオーディションを勝ち抜き、青洟役で出演し話題に。
その後も宅間孝行演出 舞台タクフェス第7,8弾と立て続けに出演し、連続テレビ小説「舞いあがれ！」に浦一太役にてレギュラー出演し一躍話題に。
持ち前の演技力と個性的な見た目で映画、ドラマ、舞台と幅広く活躍する。
Genta Wakabayashi as Sakō
Born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1994.
A member of Michel Entertainment, he has a strong background in soccer, having represented Shizuoka Prefecture during middle school.
In a highly competitive audition with approximately 5,000 participants, he won the role of Aoppana in Yasuragi no Toki: Michi, a special drama commemorating TV Asahi’s 60th anniversary, gaining significant attention.
Following this, he appeared in consecutive productions of Takufes (Seasons 7 & 8), directed by Takayuki Takuma, and later secured a regular role as Itta Ura in the NHK morning drama Maiagare!, which further propelled his career into the spotlight.
With his natural acting talent and distinctive appearance, he continues to thrive in films, TV dramas, and stage productions.
大室由香利 Yukari Omuro 神林麻貴 役
1984年、広島県に生まれ、岡山で育つ。
NSC東京俳優コース修了。
その後、同コース卒業生で結成された演劇集団「Ｎの2乗」に所属し、主な活動の場を舞台として、神保町花月などに出演する。
退団後、2019年からは映像作品にも活動の場を広げている。
同年には、出身である岡山県のPR事業「ハレウッド岡山」の広報ドラマ『ぽつり、岡山』(前野朋哉監督) にも出演している。
Yukari Omuro as Maki Kambayashi
Born in Hiroshima Prefecture in 1984 and raised in Okayama.
She completed the NSC Tokyo Acting Course and later joined the theater troupe N², which was formed by graduates of the same program. Primarily focusing on stage performances, she appeared in productions at Jinbōchō Kagetsu and other venues.
After leaving the troupe, she expanded her career into film and television in 2019. That same year, she appeared in the promotional drama Potsuri, Okayama, directed by Tomoya Maeno, as part of her home prefecture’s PR project Harewood Okayama.
稲葉凌一 Ryoichi Inaba 里谷郷吉 役
1967年、静岡県に生まれる。
映画・テレビ・Vシネマなど映像作品を中心に幅広く活躍し、出演本数は200本を超える。
重厚な悪役が多いが、近年はコミカルな役もこなし、主役から脇役まで幅広く演じる。
代表作に、北野武監督『アウトレイジ 最終章』(17) ほか多数。
最新作は、映画『ヒットマン・ロイヤー』(監督 大野大輔)、舞台『我らのエピローグは終わらない』(脚本・演出 コロポックル佐藤)。
Ryoichi Inaba as Gōkichi Satoya
Born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1967.
With over 200 screen appearances, he has built a prolific career in film, television, and V-Cinema.
While known primarily for his commanding portrayals of villains, he has also embraced comedic roles in recent years, demonstrating his versatility in both leading and supporting parts.
His notable works include Outrage Coda (2017), directed by Takeshi Kitano, among many others.
His latest projects include the film Hitman Lawyer, directed by Daisuke Ōno, and the stage play Our Epilogue Never Ends, written and directed by Koropokkuru Satō.

1993年、沖縄県に生まれる。

俳優としてのみならず、プロデュースや演出・脚本にも活躍の場を広げている。

Born in Okinawa Prefecture in 1993.
A member of Office LR and the founder of the theater company ZERO-ICH, he has built a diverse career spanning stage, film, and television.
Beyond acting, he has expanded his work into production, directing, and screenwriting.
His notable works include the NHK morning drama Chimudondon (2022) and the film Ari, Fureta, Mirai (Future Found, Felt, Touched) (2023), directed by Tōru Yamamoto, in which he also served as a producer.
中太 佑 Yu Nakadai アツシ 役
1987年、埼玉県に生まれる。
IHIステージアラウンド東京で公演されたDINO-A-LIVE「タイムダイバー2022」では、シルベ役を好演した。
大河ドラマ『麒麟がくる』(第15回)やドラマ『ギルガメッシュFIGHT』『悪魔はそこに居る」(共にParavi) 、映画『ゲネプロ★7』などに出演している。
また、特集オーディオドラマ『鐘を鳴らす子供たち』(前・後編)NHK FMでは、声の演技も務めた。
Yu Nakadai as Atsushi
Born in Saitama Prefecture in 1987.
In the IHI Stage Around Tokyo production of DINO-A-LIVE: Time Diver 2022, he delivered a compelling performance as Sylve.
His screen credits include the Taiga drama Kirin ga Kuru (Episode 15), the Paravi series Gilgamesh Fight and The Devil is There, and the film Genepuro★7.
Additionally, he has lent his voice to the NHK FM audio drama The Children Who Ring the Bell (Parts 1 & 2).
上岡紘子 Hiroko Kamioka 齋藤かね 役
1948年、東京都に生まれる。
劇団浪漫劇場に研究生として入所。
1969年、神鳥ひろ子として瀬戸内寂聴原作のTVドラマ『妻と女の間』でデビューし、『黒蜥蜴』で初舞台。大河ドラマ『春の坂道』(71) などに出演。
現芸名の上岡紘子としてテレビ朝日『刑事一代平塚八兵衛昭和事件史』(09) で再デビュー。
昨今は、テレビ朝日『相棒』、CM KDDI『ケーブルプラス電話』（23）、舞台『霞色のライラック』(23）などに出演している。
Hiroko Kamioka as Kane Saitō
Born in Tokyo in 1948.
She began her acting career as a trainee at Gekidan Roman Gekijō.
In 1969, under the stage name Hiroko Kandori, she made her television debut in the drama Tsuma to Onna no Aida, based on a novel by Jakuchō Setouchi, and had her stage debut in Black Lizard. She later appeared in the Taiga drama Haru no Sakamichi (1971).
Re-debuting under her current name, Hiroko Kamioka, she appeared in the 2009 TV Asahi drama Keiji Ichidai: Heisuke Hachibei Shōwa Jikenshi.
More recently, she has been featured in the TV Asahi series AIBOU, the 2023 KDDI Cable Plus Phone commercial, and the 2023 stage production Kasumi-iro no Lilac.
渡辺大智 Daichi Watanabe 寺内 役
1996年、茨城県に生まれる。シックスセンス所属。
桐朋学園芸術短期大学 演劇専攻科で演劇を学び俳優活動を開始。主な出演作に、映画『イチケイのカラス』、スポットライト映画祭 入選作『つぎに食べるおいしいもの (主演 祐一役、)、『スキマトズレ2018』『クリソツの姉弟』（主演 大智役)、『織田同志会 織田征仁』(19)などがある。その他、TVドラマや舞台、CMなど多岐に渡り活躍している。
山﨑秀樹 Hideki Yamasaki 服部信義 役
1974年、福岡県に生まれる。
2000年、劇団青年座入団以来、当劇団公演に多数参加。近年はドラマ・映画など映像作品への出演も力を入れている。最近の主な出演作は、2019年 映画『二宮金次郎』、2022年 映画『島守の塔』。2022年 テレビ『仮面ライダー ギーツ』、『嫌われ観察官 音無一六』、『薄桜鬼』『初恋の悪魔』、2023年『シガテラ』。その他CM「日本コカ・コーラ」「強力わかもと」などに出演。
神戸誠治 Seiji Kambe 園部憲司 役
1964年、大阪府に生まれる。
主な出演作は、映画『猫カフェ』(獣医役)、『潜入捜査官3』(18)、『彼女来来』(21)。
2014年 TBSドラマ『女はそれを許さない』(検察官 役)、テレビ朝日『相棒12 元旦スペシャル』(長嶋真 役)。その他に、2016年 WEB「ゼクシィ スピーチの練習篇」(主演)、2022年 MV「Santa」Cupido (主演) など多数出演している。
小見美幸 Miyuki Omi 三上春江 役
1982年、千葉県に生まれる。
青年座映画放送に所属し、俳優活動を始める。
ジャズダンス、カンツォーネを得意としている。
近年は、舞台を中心に活動。最近は、シアタークリエにて『土佐堀川』(17) 、同じくシアタークリエにて『雪まろげ』(19) 、明治座にて『恋、燃ゆる。おさんの恋』(20)、新橋演舞場にて『老後の資金がありません』(21)などに出演している。
